Tukad Cepung Waterfall Tour
While you definitely don’t need a tour to see this waterfall, I understand that some people don’t feel comfortable traveling in a foreign country without the help of a tour guide to navigate and take care of everything for you.
If you prefer to travel by tour I recommend a “Combo tour” like this one that includes more than just a visit to Tukad Cepung Waterfalls.
I highly recommend this tour because it includes snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon and a visit to the coffee plantations to watch and taste the balinese coffee and tea on top of visiting the Tukad Cepung Waterfall.

The best time to visit
You can visit the waterfall year round but if you want to know the best time of day to visit I recommend the morning. Around 8 AM to 11 AM. Those times are when you will have the best chance of seeing the light rays will come shining through the canyon. Definitely worth waking up for.
The evening will most likely be more crowded, but this waterfall is very popular and will most likely have people there no matter what time of day you go.
Tip – If you want to see a similar waterfall vibe in a cave without as many tourists, you can visit Goa Raja Waterfall just 10 minutes away from Tukad Cepung Waterfalls.
What to expect once there
Unlike most Bali waterfalls, this one you had to wade through a knee-high river and over a few rocks to get there.
To reach the waterfall it is an easy 15 minute walk. Nothing too strenuous. You will have to climb down a huge flight of stairs to reach the falls.
